Qwitter - Track Your Unfollows - Twitter Quitters
4:34 PM Posted by Site Editor

Do you stress out when you see your follower numbers going down on Twitter? Well there are ways to get a better handle on who and possibly why you are losing these connections. Qwitter, a service built by the Irish firm CONTRAST, has an online tool that will inform you when you lose a follower.
Qwitter e-mails you when someone stops following you on Twitter with a message like this:
John Gruber (gruber) stopped following you on Twitter after you posted this tweet:
What's the difference between Arial and Helvetica?
Is it a little paranoid to be tracking down your unfollows like this or is just good business sense to know a little bit more of why you just lost a connection?

I'm still baffled as to why strangers START following me...how do they even find me out of the millions of tweets? So, I'm not that shocked when they leave.
It's like we're on the highway and a blue Civic is behind me for 10 miles...then they drop behind someone else...was it something I said? did I leave my left turn signal on? or is their exit coming up?
